Registration for NEW STUDENTS, click here.

Registration  - Returning Students 
  • Complete the one-page returning students document on the district website AFFIDAVIT
  • Once the form is completed, send the form to pleasantdaleoffice@dekalbschoolsga.org 
  • You will be able to update the student record utilizing Parent Portal/Infinite Campus. 
  • Our registrar, Ms. Brown, will update the information for the returning student in Infinite Campus. 
  • The following information is needed for returning students to complete registration: Proof of Residency, Media Release form, and Student Health Services forms. 
Transfer Students
  • Students transferring in the district will register at the receiving (new) school. 
  • Parents will be able to update the student record utilizing Parent Portal/Infinite Campus. 
  • The new school will assist facilitate the process, which will require the completion of registration, proof of residency and other local school required documents for the 2020- 2021 school year. 

Parent/Guardian Annual Verification of Existing Student Census Data via Parent Portal  

Parents/Guardians can now complete their annual verification of existing student Census information via the parent portal.  

  • ·  Parent/Guardian must have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account to verify/update their student(s) information.  
  • ·  Parents/guardians who do not already have a portal account should
    visit https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/infinite-campus/ for instructions. 
     
  • ·  Parents/guardians who have forgotten their portal username and/or password should click on the Forgot username? or Forgot password? link as appropriate on the portal login page ( https://campus.dekalb.k12.ga.us/campus/portal/parents/dekalb.jsp ).  


Chromebook Distribution

Student Chromebook/Instructional Materials Pick-up Information: 

4th & 5th Grade - Wednesday, August 12, 2020 

2nd & 3rd Grade - Thursday, August 13, 2020  

Pre-K, K, & 1st Grade - Friday, August 14, 2020   

 

Students will be permitted to pick up during the following times each day: 

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.  

1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. 

 

If a family has more than one child, they may pick-up for all children on one day.  

 

Families will stay in their vehicle.  We will use a "drive-thru" system.  Families need to post the name of their child, teacher name, and grade level on the window when they arrive. We will bring all materials out to the car.   

 

If they have books (library) or other items to drop off at the school, we will have boxes available to drop these items off. 

 

There will be seven (7) stations at the pick-up location.  Please follow all signs and stop at each station.  Please stay in your car and stay in line.

Los alumnos pueden recoger los materiales durante el siguiente horario cada día:

Si una familia tiene más de un hijo, podrá recoger los materiales para todos los niños el mismo día.

Las familias deben permanecer adentro de sus vehículos. Se implementará un sistema "drive-thru". Se debe poner el nombre del niño, nombre del maestro, y número del grado en la ventana al llegar. Nosotros les traeremos todos los materiales al carro.

Fall 2020 PAC Elections Update
The District’s goal is for each school to have an active Principal Advisory Council with elected and appointed members who have the training and support needed to operate in accordance with the District’s standards of good governance. The candidate declaration window for Fall 2020 PAC elections opened on May 4, 2020 and will close on August 21, 2020.  The electronic voting window will be open from September 15th through September 22nd.  If necessary, revisions to this timeline will be made.  Click here for the Candidate declaration forms and other resources available on the Fall 2020 Elections tab of the District's PAC website. 

Reopening of Schools Community Input Survey

DeKalb County School District is seeking stakeholder input on their preferences and perspectives for learning models and hybrid options that the school district is considering for the reopening of schools. This feedback includes stakeholders' level of comfort with social distancing and hygiene efforts, school bus transportation, serving meals, taking temperature, access to technology and internet at home, and the use of masks at school.  The survey is open from Tues., June 9, until Sun., June 21, 2020.

Title 1 Math Night

Math Title 1

The Title I Program office will be hosting its annual Math Carnival for Title I students and parents on Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM at Redan High School, located at 5247 Redan Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088. This free carnival will have lots of fun-filled, hands-on teacher and student-created activities that will enhance your child's math skills and test taking strategies. Pre-Kindergarten Online Lottery

Great news!  The 2020-2021 Pre-Kindergarten lottery will be online.  The application process will take place during February-March 2020 to ensure all interested families have ample time to apply through the online process.  Please check the District's website frequently for updates.  In the meantime, please learn more about the registration process through the following link:
