As we continue to monitor daily data reports received from the Department of Public Health and the CDC, we want to also ensure that we are monitoring feedback from our stakeholders.  We will capture stakeholder feedback through our School Re-Opening Survey.

How to login to your Chromebook

1. The first time you login in to a Chromebook, click Add Person at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see Add Person and instead see a Sign in screen, go to Step 2. 
2. On the sign in screen, enter S and your student number replacing S# with your actual student number. Example: s1234567 then Click Next.
3. Enter your password.  Passwords are determined by the student's grade level. Password problems? Call the DCSD Help Desk at 678-676-1188

Registration for NEW STUDENTS, click here.

Registration  - Returning Students 
  • Complete the one-page returning students document on the district website AFFIDAVIT
  • Once the form is completed, send the form to pleasantdaleoffice@dekalbschoolsga.org 
  • You will be able to update the student record utilizing Parent Portal/Infinite Campus
  • Our registrar, Ms. Brown, will update the information for the returning student in Infinite Campus. 
  • The following information is needed for returning students to complete registration: 
    • Proof of Residency (current lease/mortgage/utility bill)
    • Media Release form
    • and Student Health Services forms
      • Valid Georgia certificate of immunization (GA Form #3231)
      • Evidence of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (GA Form #3300-Rev. 2013)
Transfer Students
  • Students transferring in the district will register at the receiving (new) school. 
  • The new school will assist facilitate the process, which will require the completion of registration, proof of residency and other local school required documents for the 2020- 2021 school year. 
Parent/Guardian Annual Verification of Existing Student Census Data via Parent Portal
Parents/Guardians can now complete their annual verification of existing student census information via the parent portal.

2nd & 3rd - Tuesday, September 8th 2020  

4th & 5th - Wednesday, September 9th 2020
Can't make it on Tuesday or Wednesday? - Stop by on Thursday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.


Students will be permitted to pick up during the following times: 

9 a.m. - 1 p.m.  


Families will stay in their vehicle.  We will use a "drive-thru" system.  Families need to post the name of their child, teacher name, and grade level on the window when they arrive. We will bring all materials out to the car.   


If they have books (library) or other items to drop off at the school, we will have boxes available to drop these items off.

Fall 2020 PAC Elections Update
The District’s goal is for each school to have an active Principal Advisory Council with elected and appointed members who have the training and support needed to operate in accordance with the District’s standards of good governance. The candidate declaration window for Fall 2020 PAC elections opened on May 4, 2020 and will close on August 21, 2020.  The electronic voting window will be open from September 15th through September 22nd.  If necessary, revisions to this timeline will be made.  Click here for the Candidate declaration forms and other resources available on the Fall 2020 Elections tab of the District's PAC website.

DCSD is seeking stakeholder input on their preferences and perspectives for learning models and hybrid options that the school district is considering for the reopening of schools. This feedback includes stakeholders' level of comfort with social distancing and hygiene efforts, school bus transportation, serving meals, taking temperature, access to technology and internet at home, and the use of masks at school. The survey is open from Tues., June 9, until Sun., June 21, 2020. Click HERE to take the survey. Thank you for your time.

Title 1 Math Night

Math Title 1

The Title I Program office will be hosting its annual Math Carnival for Title I students and parents on Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM at Redan High School, located at 5247 Redan Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088. This free carnival will have lots of fun-filled, hands-on teacher and student-created activities that will enhance your child's math skills and test taking strategies. We look forward to seeing you and your child there.

Pre-Kindergarten Online Lottery

Great news!  The 2020-2021 Pre-Kindergarten lottery will be online.  The application process will take place during February-March 2020 to ensure all interested families have ample time to apply through the online process.  Please check the District's website frequently for updates.  In the meantime, please learn more about the registration process through the following link:
